At the end of the Resilient program, I went from zero to deadlifting almost twice my body weight. Whaaa! :) And that wasn't even the best thing about the training. Prior to getting here, I was running a few times a week. Runs were getting progressively worse. I was feeling fatigued with a lavish helping of dissatisfaction with my body and health. I knew I needed structure and from the get-go, I knew I would get that here. Rahul's training took my requirements and abilities into account and made it feel custom fit even while working in a group setting. I loved our group sessions. The size was right to benefit from the camaraderie and group energy egging you on, yet not getting lost in it even though some days you really wish coach wasn't that eagle-eyed.
As expected, we learnt foundational moves with good form so we can prevent injuries and a whole world opens up that previously seemed alien. I didn't however expect the nutritional guidance that came alongside. What's more, Rahul has done a ton of research on what's available in the market and is extremely generous in sharing this with you.
All I really had to do was show up. Somehow, on the days when I didn't have it in me, and we all have those days, he got me to work my way out of the corner and every single time I left feeling better and stronger.
One of my favourite takeaways from this program is his training us to use language right to set ourselves up for success. This has been useful beyond physical fitness and is something I watch out for much more keenly now. All in all, it's a no-brainer, sign up, show up and you'll be amazed at what you're capable of.
