This is the strongest I’ve been, and can’t wait to get stronger. I have only you to thank, Rahul. Here’s to more gains.
‘I will teach you to be self-sufficient’ is Rahul’s motto.
I was someone who believed that cardio and eating salads was the only way to stay for years. During lockdown in 2020 with no way to go out, something sparked in me to change this.
I started training with someone who was a great help in setting me on course, but wasn’t a consistent development that one would hope for.
This is when I reached out to Rahul to help me with my training. He changed my mind set with setting the idea straight of training in a way that works for your body and not defined by generic parameters. Rahul said, ‘The goal is to be strong when you are old’ - this stuck with me.
Rahul set a program that moved from dumbbells to barbell. This program has not changed since I started training with him in May 2021, the only variable here has been progressive increase in load and calorie intake as well as regular check-ins and accountability. In my remote training journey so far, I have learnt more than just understanding nutrition, proper technique and form of training - it’s about having the right attitude towards both. This is the strongest I’ve been, and can’t wait to get stronger. I have only you to thank, Rahul. Here’s to more gains.
